    I bought a 12 month premium subscription through one of the links for G2A.com but I don't know how to activate it? It gave me a Gmail address and password but when I go to YouTube I'm always logged in as my usual account.

    Sorry I'm a bit clueless 🙈 Can anyone help please?

    Go to YouTube App, Select your profile icon (Bottom right usually), click the little cog on the top right, select Switch Account, there is option to "+" account, select that and follow on screen instruction to log in.

    Once you have done that, run YouTube with the new profile. There is no need to log out of account as with any google app, it allow you to log in multiple accounts, just need to use the appropriate profile in the app.

    If following the iTunes method, just follow step by step. Main points are to create your new Turkish Apple ID, buy your Apple credit like you have done and purchase YouTube Premium while logged into your new Apple ID.

    Once sorted, you can log back into your main Apple ID as normal and enjoy the premium. It’s not just on your phone either, my regular Irish Youtube login has premium so can watch in the same way on my YouTube TV app.

    Youtube premium family Argentina payment rejected so stuck with ads for weeks, PITA, Was not able to create a new Apple account so…………

    iPad went into app store

    click top right account picture

    new window pops up click the top account part

    now change region to India, fill out details with any random address, leave payment option empty

    go to amazon india and buy apple store credit and apply in app store

    open youtube app on iPad and subscribe

    approx €4.50 a month for family

    BONUS got 2 free months of Apple TV with option to renew for 99 rupees =€1.10 a month

    did not have to do anything else, all family member once again have premium

    I tried apple method today. Couldn't create an apple account, tried three different emails , on two different PC's , two different phone numbers.

    I have an iPhone but I thought it will be easier to create an account on PC.

    It didn't work, couldn't create apple account? Anyone else had same issue or it is just me ?

    Using the iPad to renew with amazon india gift card just worked for me. Used my existing account, just changed the region/location through the App store. Worked out €4.32 per month for the family subscription. Just need to make sure I've enough in the account for the renewal each month. And got the Apple TV too! Happy days.

    I used the turkey route.
    I thought I could add my Turkish FUPS card to my Turkish App Store ID but no luck.

    So bought 1300 lira from G2A.
    went through the process as above all good.

    One thing though that I don’t see mentioned, when I logged out of my apple account to sort this and then logged back in, all my Apple Pay cards had to be set up again.

    Just incase it catches someone out.

    No need to fully log out. Just log out & sign in the App Store only.

    Go to Account tab & then scroll to bottom to log out. Once credit is added, log into your main account again.

    Question for anyone using the iOS method, is it possible to update your existing id to Turkey? I have one sub on existing id which is paid for the year, would I lose that? Would be handy to have all subs under the one id. I need to purchase more storage too for photos. Way cheaper in TRY

    I'm currently enrolled in an ETB course so thought I'd go the student route - student sub is 8.99 vs 13.99 for an individual. The various ETBs are listed as acceptable institutions, but mine doesn't issue a student ID card, so I tried uploading a screengrab of my course application and of the calendar showing the recurring classes. The ID's are verified by SheerID and they've rejected it, saying "The document is not official or on the list of accepted document types."😥
