Hello. I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the correct group. I did look around through the different categories. Here goes.

I have a four camera dvr system, I have a feeling that the hdd is on the way out. I I can replace it, that's not the problem. The question is what file system do I format the new drive? As in ext3, I ext4, I ntfs or fat32?

Your DVR will probably do it for you. i.e. it will probably give you an option to "format this drive" without you even having to be aware of what it is formatting it to.
