Trump and MAGA once again placing the Judeo-Christian bible at the centre of their bullshit. Whilst not grasping a whit of it.

Wonder why the rabbi is complaining about college campuses & hostages while ignoring the 50k dead Palestinians...

Trump is going to rubber stamp"Greater Israel" and it will be built on the graves of Palestinians.

The world is now at an inflection point more dangerous than I have ever, ever known and I say that as a more than just passing student of war, economics and politics...

Also? Where are the Dharmic religions, the African religions, the islamic leaders? This is a disgusting example of Christian supremacy, ably assisted by a few Uncle Toms doing their very best "black church" show

Trump supporters bang on about his not starting a war in his 1st term. Yet that speech was Warlike, expansionist, aggressive and totally at odds with the UN charter. A complete lack of respect for the sovereignty of other states. Where is the US going to "expand" without encroaching upon the sovereignty of other nations?

Pay careful attention to Trump's embrace of Manifest Destiny 2.0 and the effect it has upon Bibi Nethanyahu and his Greater Israel project. It is a carte blanche for Israeli aggression and conquest.

The man is taking Reagan's peace through strength mantra and making it a mockery of itself.

Complaining about money spent arming Ukraine to defend itself? Where is that money spent?

In the fúcking US, and when Ukraine needs more? The money is again spent in the US, employing US workers and companies...

As for the bollox re: McKinley, tariffs and his business acumen? DonTheCon™ would do well to study the corruption of the man, the failure of his tariff policies and the outcome for the US economy in its aftermath. McKinley's policy as co tuned by Teddy Roosevelt had a part to play in 1903 crash.

Embracing the man seen as the foundational president of the American Empire,is a deliberate and very contrived policy position.

That speech was an embrace of conquest by right of power, of aggressive foreign policy and of widescale tariff and export implementation.

That same policy was one of the driving forces in the rise of fascism in both Germany & Japan in the 1920s. The dominance of American financing and it's collapse post 1929,combined with the ever increasing cost of just doing business with the US drove bankruptcy, industrial & economic collapse and the rise of nationalism and xenophobia across Europe and Japan. Weimar Germany's collapse was as much due to the collapse of taxation to fund the unemployment insurance system, as it was hyperinflation. Both factors were subject to the whims of US loans & tariffs. They were foundational in creating the environment that led to war.

Have the yanks abandoned the teaching of economic & political history in favour of just loud chants of U.S.A?

And announcing the previous election was rigged.

How does the opposition rig an election against the sitting President?

It's shoved in our faces everyday, I have nothing against trans people.

It is biology everyeone is born with an XX or XY chromosones making them a male or female chromosomes (besides the miniscule amount of intersex people). Deciding that you want to idenitfy as a man or woman doesn't simply make you one.

More and more people are coming to this relisation and are no longer afraid of some of the militant LGBTQ activists that shout down and attack anyone that dares to question their beliefs.

Just look at what has happened to JK Rowling & Roisin Murphy.

I draw the line at children being given pubetry blockers before they are 18 and have gone through puberty.

No child should be able to make that life altering decision.

They are plenty of people out there that have regretted their transitions and have detransitioned.

I also believe that we should protect women's only spaces and female sports by not allowing biological men to compete in female only sports and not allowing them in women's bathrooms.

I won't be responding any further on this topic as I don't want to derail this thread.

Fold like a cheap suit my friend, worthless and weak. should have bought back in the day man, might have had better things to do than ramping up 21k posts on this forum

Easy. It is well known that George Soros worked with Hugo Chavez to steal the previous election.

The wokeratti will try to convince you that this could not have happened, based on the entirely faulty logic that Chavez being deceased would have impeded his ability to help Dominion and the Democrats.

    That's a fact!

A debate about it isn't even allowed because they assume we are automatically hostile and mean/nasty.

In fact I am not, I simply do not share their beliefs that a man can become a woman or vice versa.

That is all, I'm not saying they don't exist or trans people are bad people.

I am simply saying that I do not believe in the reality that they belive in and I shouldn't be attacked or vilified for simply sharing my opinion and wanting to protect women's only spaces and women's sports.

    Enough is enough.

He's on the right of gender ideology (bolloxology) for me so that's a plus for me in the ledger at least. I'm sure there'll be counter entries soon enough.

You should go spend your millions and retire to a nice sunny island somewhere. Or better still, cash them all in to buy $TRUMP. Limited supply. Not like silly fiat. Obligatory graph of M2 money supply imagined below to prove why you need to do it! Gimme ya money.

The big nonsense is people obsessing over this fringe issue because they're living on Twitter, battling a small number of activists on the other side, day in and day out.

There are actual existential issues to work through via political means. What to do about a small number of people with gender dysphoria ain't one of them.

The Enoch Burke of US Presidents.

I might actually bring him over and make him Secretary of Education

And of course your basic school education makes you eminently qualified to make such assertions without and citation or link to back up your drivel.

You mentioned being attacked for your opinion. Well, if your opinion is ignorant, uninformed and hateful, it is only correct to call you out on it.

The Governments of Northern Ireland and the UK banning them is a sure sign that giving puberty blockers to kids isn't the solution but hey what would they or their expert advisers know?

I am sure you are going to tell me that they are wrong too?

Agreed that they are a tiny group and they shout the loudest but as I've said protecting women's only spaces and women's sport is where I draw the line.

I can't in good conscience just ignore it!

Visions of the movies Interstellar or Passengers (2016) with Elon getting into the business of building a rocket bound for Mars 🚀

    Lovin it

You can be into this fringe issue as much as you want, but as a fringe issue, it has no business on the front of political manifestos. There are far more prevalent issues of all kinds to address ahead of it.

Any interaction i see with them it is clear they are madly in love 😂

if the issue is so unimportant then people who are supporting biological males enter women’s private places (lockers & showers) should not have a problem with society drawing a line on the issue and just refusing said men entry to these spaces.
After all you agree it’s such a small issue then you shouldn’t have a problem adopting this ban.

Mod - @LessOutragePlz, please stop soapboxing about transgenderism, you've more than made your point.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,016 ✭✭✭✭briany

I don't care what's done about the issue since it's so rare that 99 percent of people aren't going to run into it one way or the other. The people who are caught up in it are going to keep on battling each other on it, whatever I think. What I take issue with is disingenuous politicians holding this issue up as a way to distract from an endless list of things which are far more prevalent and consequential to everyday people. Donald Trump being one of them.
