Replacement Walking Board/Deck for a threadmill

Hi, the walking board (or maybe its call the deck) has broken on my threadmill.

It had broke before and a friend who is a kichen manufacturer gave me a replacement board but it did not last long and it broke. I think it was just 18 mm MDF.

The board is 110 cm by 59cm.

Whats my best option for getting a proper replacement? it would need to take someone 115 kgs...

Ply is stronger than MDF, so assuming your dimensions are correct, this:

Hi Lumen, thanks for the response. I am wondering though would the hardwood ply, although it is smooth, it would not be as smooth as the mdf which had a polished finish. Would it create too much friction? Has anyone tried this out before as a replacement?

You can get faced ply e.g

...or just apply a poly varnish and sand between coats.

I don't have a treadmill mind...

Contact the parts supplier for the brand, they are not expensive. Depending on if the belt needs to be regularly lubed the board will need a protective coating.

Any luck with sourcing a walking deck? Need a new one but something stronger than the original one.

Did you change the deck yourself, was it hard to do?
