They kinda shot it by including it in the same month as God of War, but Atlas Fallen is quite enjoyable too. And it's allegedly been improved with new story content since release (the Reign of Sand update). I mean, it's pants compared to Ragnarok, but still an enjoyable game in its own right.

But I'll finally get to play the roguelike addon for GoW. Yurt.

The roguelike add-on for GoW (Valhalla) is excellent. Can feel like it takes a while to get going and understanding where you go, why you go there, what options to pick etc, but once you start getting into a flow and rhythm is a lot of fun. Really challenging, but also forces you out of your combat comfort zone and try different styles and techniques, and really showcases how great the combat system in the game is.

there is a 25% off subscription cost on UK site. Will it matter if I subscribe to UK ps plus while based in Ireland ?

    Do you have Irish PS+?

You will lose access to your "free" games if you change region to UK.

Most of the monthly games aren't great in fairness. The monthly Extra ones are though

    Also this

Update on PS4 Games for PlayStation Plus

As many of our players are currently playing on PS5 and have shifted toward redeeming and accessing PS5 titles from the Monthly Games and Game Catalog benefit, PlayStation Plus is also evolving with this trend and will focus on offering PS5 titles through the Monthly Games and Game Catalog benefit starting January 2026. As we shift to PS5, PS4 games will no longer be a key benefit and will only be occasionally offered for PlayStation Plus Monthly Games and Game Catalog starting January 2026. We may still provide titles that can be playable on both PS4 and PS5 consoles after this date.

Please note, this won't affect the PS4 Monthly Games that you have already redeemed from PlayStation Plus. You'll continue to have access to games you've already redeemed as long as you remain a member. For Game Catalog, PS4 games will still be available to play until it leaves the catalog as part of our monthly refresh.

We'll continue to evolve the experience of PlayStation Plus and optimize the benefits you receive, including exclusive discounts, online multiplayer access, online game save storage and more. As we shift our focus to PS5, we look forward to adding new PS5 titles monthly for you to enjoy.

Monthly games I understand but removing games permanently from the Game Catalog? Why cut down the number of games available since all can be played on PS5 anyway?

Xbox get Indiana Jones and Black Ops 6. We get Pacman

Just 1 month out of the year you'd think they'd add a brand new game/popular game to rope people in to at least their essential offering.

This is precisely why i sold my PS5 and bought an xbox. I very rarely buy new games and considering the top tier for plus is in and around the same price as the top tier on xbox, for me personally its much better value for money.

You can still get cheap GPU though you'll get 19 months now instead of 3 or 2 years previously, costs about €130 without using a vpn or €90 with. Significantly cheaper than Extra or Premium.

Everyone with an active ps+ account are being given 5 days of additional subscription time due to the outage.

Just to mess up everyone who timed their subs to end around black Friday.

Saw quite a few people giving out about the same online. Another Sony masterplan 🤔

"How can we work this to our advantage? I know give them free stuff that'll cost them more in the long run. And while we're at it, we should raise the price to cover the overtime since it was for the players"

Is it exhausting searching for the negative in literally everything that happens in your life?

Tbf, I'd my subscription lined up to finish during the Black Friday sales and it's worked perfectly for me for the last couple of years. Added to the fast your can't stack your subscription by buying during other sales means it's a pain in the hole to miss out on that saving.

Wasn't there free games offered before due to an outage?

5 days is generous but there should be some choices offered imo. By not offering a choice it does look like Sony are trying to make a few quid back.

I think the last time there was a big outage, it went on for about 3 weeks, and there were a lot of security issues with people's account info, so free games were offered. This time I don't think it was even out for a full day.

I get that the 5 free days means it might push people out of the Black Friday deal, but I think it's unfair to accuse them of doing it on purpose (or capitalising on it). They're trying to recompense people for the outage, but the value of that isn't enough that they could give store credit or free games or anything. PSN down, give a few free additional PSN days to make up for it. Especially when for most people, their membership isn't tied to the Black Friday deal.

We could disappear down a rabbit hole here. IIRC they offered discounted tier upgrades only to then block stacking offers for lower tiers. I dont think its unfair not to trust all good will offerings. If that makes me cynical so be it.

Not offering players a choice is dodgy ground. Even the option to refuse / not claim the extra 5 days would be preferable to some.

Absolute ****! Some of us might get lucky being still within the sale period but a lot will be rightly screwed.
