Keep in mind enigma 2 boxes and can run auto updates for channel movement.

Thats an old box and possibly only supported image is Open ITV.

Keeping boxes simple and not overloaded

Have a H7S here but that box is getting scarce in most places . That model possibly takes a ssd pushed into the rear to use for recording and is supported by OpenVix.

There is a H7S thread for that box .

Wonder if thats the older model that takes internal hdd / ssd as image does not show slot in rear

Bigger boxes are getting less and less as i also have an Et 10000 quad tuner in the bedroom .

Now with all mod cons and iptv and internet streaming boxes taking over people are using smart tvs for content.

With all the cabling around the house i will still use the sat boxes and the H7S is in my sitting room as its 4K and so is my tv.

Its a handy box as you can view sat and record sat with 2 tuners. I cant as only got 1 feed as lost the second one.

Saorview i can record on one channel and watch on tv tuner if needed.

I use OpenVix images which come with a plugin AutobouquetMaker which when set up scans your sat and saorview channels for movement and adds removes non working ones.

+ it gives you sections of what channels go into that like Hd , Sport , News etc and on second page is a section for Your hot channels you use all the time and they are NOT updated when ABM runs in the early morning.

Dont think i have downloaded any extra plugins as all i need was channel lists and 7 day epg.

Just checking on EPG IMPORT CONFIG - disabled on that plugin

Seems i have enabled OPEN TV download to yes for 28.2
