Have the “Great!” Channels changed frquqency or something? E.g. Great! Tv, movies, action, Christmas , etc.
Don’t watch them myself, but others do.
Was fine yesterday I think . Thought it was the storm Eowyn overnight, but all my other satellite channels are working, so don’t want to mess with dish of just those channels.

    Hi all,

Apolgies for my ignorance, I use cable myself, but my mum has an Edison piccollino S2+T2/C and bit by bit a lot of her favourite channels have moved frequency. Is there a any tool or other resource which I could use to generate a suitable channel file to update her box and get all the channels into a sensible sequeunce or is FreeSat the way to go these days?

    Thanks in anticiaption!

Hi, I had a look for you and that box is good but a bit complex. You can use a USB for channel list. Do a separate post and you have a good chance of getting a list via email.

You can also do a satellite scan but you need the manual. Freetv.ie sell them and they may oblige.

    Hi

I am struggling with getting the Channel 4 suite. I have a walker combi TV and I am getting everything else just not the C4s.

    I don't know where I change that MP2 setting.

If anyone could offer any assistance I'd be very grateful.

    I have Walker TVs too.

Some FTA channels are tagged as encrypted/pay channels, Channel 4 bouquet of channels are tagged that way.

If you go into the channel filter options and toggle Free/Pay to display ALL, this might resolve.

I can also give you a working channel list if you like, PM me your email address if you wish

Thanks for your response. Do you mean that someone might send me a "list" or active frequencies or perhaps, what I'm more interested in getting, a BIN file that I could upload to the unit directly?

.sdx channel list that can be uploaded to the TV via the satellite channel table within settings.

Note: this file format works with Walker TVs, it may work for your box

I'm having a slightly weird issue with the ITV channels in particular.

I have an ancient Vu+ Duo (non 4k) that works fine except for the ITV channels.

They are all tuned in and receive EPG info, but they take ages to load. So, say switching from a BBC channel, to ITV1HD it takes maybe a minute or more for it to tune in.

It can be even worse for some of the other ITV HD channels.

I've checked and rechecked the tuning info, and it all seems OK.

    Odd.

UTV or STV would serve as substitutes for ITV, unless they are displaying the same behaviour.

In case it is a weak signal issue, a good test for your system could be the CNN transponder.

Hopefully this is the most suitable place to post my freesat issue.

I have a satellite dish and Fergusson arriva box and have usually about one thousand odd channels tuned in, most of them repeats often multiple times.

Over the years channels have periodically been lost showing as out of signal and I usually just have located the channel elsewhere and moved it to replace the one that I had lost.

However suddenly I have lost pretty much all the channels bar the Irish one and I have found the channel 4 group as well as one location for BBC1 BBC2 and ITV1 even after a retune.

Any ideas what may have gone wrong?

Has my dish got moved out of position?

All cabling seems to fine and as before.

Am I tuning it in wrong though it seems the same as I have done before.

Any advice gratefully received as I am pretty clueless about the cause of the problem and the remedy.

The OP based the list on the details on RXTV. It is a very good source. The Sky Mix change was noted on 25 April.

    https://rxtvinfo.com/satellite-updates/

Sky Mix UK dual running ahead of expected transponder change

25/04/2025 – Sky Mix HD (UK version) has been spotted broadcasting on Astra 2F, transponder 24, 12168 V, (DVB-S2, QPSK) SID: 6831. It is currently dual running with transponder 27, 12227, SID 5831. It’s expected this will lead to a transponder change.

I have an Alden SSC Controller linked to a Amiko Mini-Combo Extra receiver. When last used, all was well, but recently when I went to use it, the dish would not lock on to any Astra 28 satellites.

I found a list of transponder settings online, and tried them, and although the dish now locked on to a satellite, no channels showed up. I did a Blind Scan on the receiver and a number of eastern European and Indian channels appeared. This at least proved that the system is basically working, but just needs the correct transponder numbers and settings to be correct.
    These settings were: 10773, 23000, H, 3/4, and DVB-S1

I see a current channel listing for Astra 2 E,F & G on Lingsat, but I am not sure where I can find the initial frequency settings that the controller needs in order to lock on to the satellite. The Alden SSC needs Transponder Frequency: S/R: Pol H/V: FEC: Mod:

I have been using DVB-S1 for up to now, but I have seen references to DVB-S2 recently. Should I change this setting?

I would really appreciate any help on offer as we are heading to France shortly. Thanks.
