My friend, you are talking total rubbish. Trumps joke about taking over Canada has no bearing on this, none whatsoever. If you genuinely believe this, I would consult a doctor.

Breath of fresh air listening to Trump's speech now.

Cant wait for him to get stuck into the endless left wing policies.

If you listen closely, you'll hear liberal heads popping all over the place..

What particular left-wing policy are you most looking to be removed/reversed?

Are the imaginary popping heads in the room with you?

Like his first chaotic term, he will accomplish little.

See Biden & the Democrats trying to do as much damage as he can by banning offshore drilling in US waters just to hamper the Trump administration. Trump will hopefully reverse it immediately.

Did you know that under Biden, the US has been drilling more oil than any other country and at any other time in history? US does not have an issue with a lack of oil.

Its going to be like something out of Scanners.

Trump has no policies though according to so many liberals….

On the face of it, it seems difficult to reverse. Under the relevant Act that Biden used, a President can add regions to the 'banned drilling' list, but cannot remove them. They can only be removed via Congress and the courts, which is always a slow and cumbersome process.

edit: An added complication is that people generally don't want off-shore drilling off their coasts, so even in a GOP coastal state (e.g., Florida) it tends to be something that Republican politicians are against.

Why hasn't Trump yet said that he wanted to buy Ireland, and if Ireland would object, Ireland would be hit with taxes.

He is going to lower food prices - oh wait, he has already backtracked on that one.

He is going to ensure that jobs are for Americans first - No wait again, he wants to give anyone who passes a degree course a H1B visa and green card

He will build a wall and get Mexico to pay for it - sorry that was 2016

He is going to cut the price of gas by 50% - oh wait, he doesn't control the price and supply isn't the issue so little he can actually do

Replace Obamacare? - Silly me, turns out healthcare is complicated

Sort out the Ukraine war in 24 hours - that would have worked, so easy, but it's going way more difficult just after he won the election so that might take some time.

    Infrastructure week anyone?

If Putin said this, would it be called 'warmongering' or just laughed at?

“We need Greenland for national security purposes. I’ve been told that for a long time, long before I even ran. I mean, people have been talking about it for a long time. You have approximately 45,000 people there. People really don’t even know if Denmark has any legal right to it, but if they do, they should give it up, because we need it for national security. That’s for the free world. I’m talking about protecting the free world."

Trudeau left coz the thought of having to deal with the trump sh1t show again didn’t appeal to him.

I don't know if Judge Cannon's latest order from the bench blocking the DOJ, the AG and Smith from releasing the Smith report on Trump will have any effect on anything or whether it's just more tit for tatting, as it's apparently only until the appeal court rules on the issue in 3 days time. It seems Trumps side are happy with Cannons order.

How can someone be this f*cking stupid?

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4gzn48jwz2o

US President-elect Donald Trump has threatened "very-high" tariffs on Denmark if it resists his effort to take control of Greenland, an autonomous Danish territory.

Asked on Tuesday if he would rule out using military or economic force in order to take control of the strategically-important island, he said: "No, I can't assure you on either of those two."

"I can say this, we need them for economic security," he said.

Denmark is an EU country. Any sanctions on the Danish will be returned and then some by Brussels. I suppose that this is what happens when a country decides that public education is a bad thing.

All that you say is true, but is it possible that Trump is about to make our world even more 'topsy turvy' than it is right now. That people do not realise what's going to hit them after his inauguration. just wondering!!!!

During the campaign, Trump was asked, very specifically, how he would help with the provision, and cost of childcare. Here's his response.

Why don't you snip that image, and use the highlighting tool to show us which words demonstrate what his policy is.

That's what was asked, and it's those types of policies people are interested in, not nonsensical BS waffle about taking over sovereign states or their properties.

    Whenever you're ready.

The only popping heads on display are Elon Musk because people challenge him on Twitter, Farage because he has to choose between Musk and not removing all presence of Reform not being a racially motivated Party, and the MAGA'ts who are offended at Musk valuing money over "cultural heritage".

The Conservative Right is a shambles. And Trump is a big part of why that is the case.

"The Conservative Right is a shambles" - spot on!

Just look at the huge shift in voter sentiment across the west…they definitely have no momentum and people have signalled what they want is more left wing woke policies going forward.

The following two points have been completely overlooked by the media and boards ! To date

(1a)MAGA - = Make America Great AGain. I am genuinely asking when - what years -was the AMerica that DT is referring to GREAT and could anyone describe it using a few bullet points x be it GNP; GDP ; size of army; nuclear capacity; population growth or whatever

(1B) out of interest , who was/ were the president/s during that period?

Only when this question is answered can we say ‘ Yes Donal, America in now great again’

    (2) from the best of my knowledge and on the assumption that a America was great at sometime in the past it was great without OWNING Greenland, without any arrangement , other the current one, with Canada ,with the Gulf of Mexico as it is today and whatever else was said by the Donald on external matters that he wants to rename , change ownership, etc, etc, etc.

His working his way around the Atlantic rim. Iceland next, then the Faroes (another bum deal for the Danes) then us 😀

Ah yes, the ubiquitous "woke" term. That catch all phrase to provide camouflage over the lack of argument or context.

When you look at how the GOP "delivered" during Trumps last Term, they didn't, or as they held the house for the last 2 years, they didn't, or similar with the Tory led 14 yr government, they didn't, or finding the sunlit uplands after Brexit, they didn't and the charlatans that represented the right during these phases, Trump, McCarthy, Johnson, Truss, Farage et al you'll see what I was referring to when using the term shambles.

You'll see it, but you won't acknowledge it I'm betting.

How about Orange Free State? The links to racism and South African immigrants could be fun.

Taoiseach Simon Harris has defended referring to Donald Trump as an “awful gowl” in what he described as a “lighthearted” radio interview more than four years ago.

Pathetic from Harris. He mocked Trump and backed Kamala in the election and now he is trying to play it down.

If he was sincere, he would stick to his convictions.

The US already has military bases in Greenland, I'd imagine this is just grandstanding for his dumb supporters when he expands one of them.

From a security and natural resources point of view the admission of Greenland to the USA does make sense. Greenlanders might freely choose it themselves.

It only makes sense in Trumps head. Greenland and Denmark have been very clear on this, so don’t make a show of yourself here.
