A good washing machine brand , mid price range.

    I’m currently on nordmende but it’s a washer dryer with good spin and energy efficient with a quick wash option if needed plus time delay. Prior to that I had Zanussi which was great . Not sure if I’ve answered your question though ! For me I wouldn’t buy hotpoint .

    whirlpool in our house since September 2018 and it’s going minimum 7 washes a week and hasn’t missed a beat.

    Have a 20 year old one in the garage and 7 year old one in the house - both working like new.

    THe vast majority of modern washing machines will be generally reliable.

    Whether a €600 one is much better in general use than a €400 one, will be questionable.

    I have a Beko for about last 6 or 7 years, no issues. Some of the big electrical companies have recently gotten into the white goods sector, and might be worth a look. Samsung, LG, Hisense.

    Last washer was a whirlpool washer/dryer combo. Dryer never worked. Washer had to be repaired a few times. Wouldn't buy one again

    After several disappointing results with different brands of washing machines we bought a Bosch about 7 years ago and it's never let us down. Delighted with it.
