happy new year to all Boards users. I know many might think a new year big deal but maybe it someway it helps many to refocus for their better selves and the people around them. Best wishes to all for 2025

I'm counting down until the little d**kheads outside my window stop letting off fireworks

Wouldn't mind but they're setting them off over the houses and cars, the koontz

Wouldn't bother watching any countdowns regardless, it's such an anticlimax of a thing, especially sitting at home I think

Jool's show is good but i just catch up on the music at a later stage

Was flicking between London and Dublin celebrations on BBC and Rte.

Dublin was so dull, could have been any time of the year with a dull band playing.

Edit : was it Cian Ducrot?

    just what I was thinking…

spent it at home on boards and watching RTE, so pretty much the same as any other night for me…

Even when I'd be going out Christmas eve Stephens night and new years, it'd all be the same, wedged between either friends or trying to get to the bar or trying to drink a pint with no elbow room at all, either that or I was working for it behind the bar, fun times

Last year, I went in to see the fireworks in London. Didn't get a ticket so I couldn't see it in the stands. Got in at half 9, waited almost 3 hours for a 15 minute display that everyone just watched through their phones and then went home.

Had an early night yesterday and I think that that was the smart move.
