i have a boyfriend of a lot of years now but he really makes me sad lately. Any time i am upset about anything entirely unrelated to him, i am not allowed talk to him about it. For example my boss upset me in work and when i told him about it, he got annoyed and said “dont bring your problems to me”

What are peoples thoughts? Should i be allowed complain about things the odd time. Just to add im not a moaner and its only once in a while i would get bothered.

i just feel like i cant be close to him if i cant say how i feel. Its sad that if im struggling with anything, it only makes it worse talking to him not better. I left him feeling doubly upset then and just cant work out how to fix this issue
