Hi, not a clue. It's not a normal layout of a power requirement sticker, it could be 12v or 6v, either AC or DC...

    Morning 10-10-20 / all.

    Thanks for reply.

Yeah pain that I cant find the power pack to it.

    I was looking at the back like above.. & tell me I'm wrong... If I add the 10 x 1.2v & 1 x 6v = 18v .

    Then add the 10 x 0.3w & the 1 x 5w = 8w.

Is any good.? Or would that either blow my thing to bits or not even power up.?

I found this power pack adapter online to equal my 18v 8w

    Any help to you's.?

    Thanks again

    Me again..

I found this from an old set of fairy lights & plugged this in.

It works…or it did. Powered up my thing (old fibre optic lamp) for say half hour then I noticed the lamp was off. Strange.

I went over to turn it on & the adapter was very hot. Waited till it cooled down but nothing wouldn't work, so I guess wrong adapter & it's now fried.

This is the adapter I'm talking of.

    Thanks.

Trying to set your place on fire ?
    For a €15 worth lamp
Replacement adapter might cost you same or more as new lamp

Original label does not provide adequate info to determine what replacement needed. And now it seem dead anyway as it is unlikely was using 24v AC

If not mistaking, them things do have halogen 6V 5W lamp (MR11=GU4 ) and small motor that rotate multicolored filter disk to produce different colors to the fibre tips.
I'd hazard to guess it was 6v DC adapter due to motor presence , lamp can take either, i think

Not clever to randomly plug in power supplies like that. You could easily have started a fire.

That PSU you used is 24VAC. The other thing is 6V (1x 6v main bulb plus 2x strings of 5x 1.2v bulbs wired in series - 5x1.2v=6v). So it is a 6v (probably DC) PSU. Honestly, if you don't understand even the most basic things about voltages etc, you're going to set your house on fire messing about. Throw whatever it is away and buy a new one is my advise.

    Thanks smuggler.ie for reply.

Yeah shame it don't work even more my own fault putting away the power pack to it & not able to find it now. Probably thrown out with last year's lights that packed up & power packs being mixed up.

    Thanks again for reply.

Not uncommon to misplace/mix power "bricks" especially when you store-away things for a year or so.
For future, label adapters with permanent marker or , as i intend to do, correction pen - it helps.
