    Did you get the message saying you need to select a payment card "from your country" prior to that? Good workaround if so!

    Signed up to Turkey through Apple no problem. I'll miss my beloved Ukraine but still less than 6e a month for a family sub, so can't complain.

    Out of curiosity, has anyone who has had notification of their YouTube premium ending soon have anything happen with their Google One subscription, I’ve always paid for Google One 200gb additional storage and I’ve noticed it has now reverted back to 100gb for some reason. I e done nothing to cancel my YouTube premium or touched my google family settings as of yet either.

    You are a topper, I got the follow up email a few minutes ago being deported from Argentina next month blah blah blah. I followed your instructions and used a Revolut virtual mastercard that doesn't expire until 11/29, Revolut initially blocked the transaction but I confirmed it and PEN 1 (26c) was taken. Just got the welcome to premium email, fingers crossed and hopefully all should go through on the 14th of January.

    They caught me eventually. So once I switched to a Wise card it took a payment. But this morning I got the email that

    it can't be renewed and I will be cut off in January. So it seems like they only know where the card is from once payment has been taken. Anyway, it bought me a month and now I'll figure out which country to move to.

    When you get the email:

    "Your YouTube Premium membership will not renew automatically and you’ll lose your YouTube Premium membership benefits"

    Then you will have the option on your account to renew your membership. If you try before hand, there won't be an option to renew/restart your membership because YouTube are still waiting for you to update your payment method.

    @_John C , not true entirely. I did update my payment option by the 13th December, they still didn't like the look of my secondary Revolut card so told me I'm totally gone on the 23rd of this month but I didn't have to wait. See below:

    I was unable to change from Argentina on my Laptop using Tunnelbear. Quick Google says to try on a mobile instead. Same VPN, same Country "Peru" and I was not alone just able to see the prices I was able to actually process it. My Argentinian residency was due to expire on the 23rd of this month and I intend to be desperately hungover that day so decided today will do instead. I had to give my Revolut billing address as a new address and seeing as we don't have an Embassy there I decided to move in temporarily to the Hilton hotel in Lima.

    The welcome emails states my Sub will start on the 23rd December so all in order until I need to catch a flight someplace else.

    Everything now is a problem for future me

    worked flawlessly lads. thanks a mil and happy Christmas :))) cant seem to find the peru currency in the revolut app though. It will do the conversion itself but i'd like to convert some myself which is what i did during my time in India.

    My Argentinian premium expired today. Tried using Peru, and a few other locations with a VPN on my computer, no joy. YouTube would keep telling me it couldn't verify my location.

    Tried the same on my phone, and even though it would show YouTube in the other countries, it would show me Irish prices to renew (€14 per month, expensive!)

    A bit of googling and experimentation later, finally got this to work on my Samsung phone. Hopefully it helps others:

    1. Delete the YouTube app on your phone
      1. Clearing cache/deleting local data and forcing the app to stop wasn't enough for me
      2. Samsung app menu allows you to disable, but not uninstall…
      3. Open Play Store app → Manage apps and device → select Manage tab → Find and select YouTube app → Uninstall
    2. Connect to a VPN on the phone, and select Algeria
      1. I used NordVPN 7 day free trial, remember to cancel it afterwards if no longer needed
      2. I did try a few other countries, but Algeria was the only cheap one that seemed to work for me…
    3. Open a web browser on your phone that you have never logged into YouTube with before
      1. I used the Samsung browser.
      2. Try Firefox, Opera etc., just make sure it's not something you've ever logged into your YouTube account with before
    4. Go to youtube.com, login, and go to your Purchases and Memberships section
    5. Select renew, and it should now show a price of DZD 819 (€5.88)
    6. Pay with Revolut, and give an Algerian address
      1. Will have to authorise in Revolut app
    7. You should get a "Welcome to YouTube Premium" email
    8. Close the browser, disconnect from the VPN
    9. Go back to the Play store, reinstall YouTube, and enjoy add free YouTube!

    I don't understand why deleting the YouTube app makes a difference, as force-stopping it should be enough, but it did the trick.

    My Turkish Revolut payment is due in 2 days but the date for my “YouTube will not renew” is also the 22nd.

    Not confident but let’s see what happens.

    Mine got stopped today aswell, I definitely know I need to get premium back (saw 3 ads and knew I won't be able to deal with that) not sure if people still do a group family plan or not?

    Any managed the Peru hack on iPhone? It's not working for me, it keeps giving me Irish prices. Even stranger is that the family plan is coming in at €33.99/month on my phone but when I use the laptop, it's €25.99. I downloaded NordVPN and on my Windows laptop, it says "This offer is not available"

    Actually I am getting "We couldn't verify your country." The "offer is not available message" was when I tried in another browser but wasn't logged in. Dubai is working but works out at about €12 for family.

    Try this, but on ur iPhone,

    Also, when tunnelbear is setup and set to Peru on your iPhone, check to make sure your connected through Peru. The google search page should show u the country ur connected to at bottom left side.
