i all, apologies in advance for any stupid questions here. My DIY skills are not great 😁

I have an internal door that is not closing tightly. It rattles when closed. I have adjusted the bendable pins in the wall, I believe its called a strike plate, which the latch fits into which helped previously but that doesn't work anymore. The problem seems to be that the latch is worn down badly (20 years old) so had lost it's grip in the strike plate. What is my best option to do in this case? Can I replace the latch or swap it with one from one of the other doors in the house? Does the entire lock need to be changed?

Any advice is greatly appreciated thanks!
