Second class primary school teacher doing a daily list in the run up to Christmas. Haven't heard of it before. Know of one child absolutely distraught to be on it for multiple days and another very upset. Child didn't know why they were on the list and no feedback to parents.

It seems harsh in the run up to Christmas but maybe the kids need to tough up a bit?

very punitive. If I were a parent of a kid in the school I'd be complaining...

Maybe the teacher's classroom management isn't up to scratch.. so they should be on the list also 🎅

As engineerws say "Kid need to toughen up" Did the child's mother ask the teacher for a reason. No point asking the child because the child is probably an angel and cannot do any wrong. If the child is misbehaving in the school then maybe just maybe inclusion on the "Naughty list" will teach the child to behave in a proper manner. Medals for the winners and the losers and nobody gives a $h!t.

    Truth.

If they're chatting in class they should be made to believe Santa will not be coming to them and that should be reinforced over multiple days👍.

Also, raising issues with a parent is not as good as directly terrorizing a small child. The little angles need to be taught to toughen up as you say🙌. Maybe they should be thrown in a coal shed too for good measure.

probably some daft idea that started out with good intentions But has had the opposite effect

I’d love to hear the teacher in questions rationale for doing it.
