Missing TP 11024

Query about TP 11024 H, 23000, 3/4. Have no signal for this on my H7S and I think it's where BBC Radio and BBC News lives.

Would that be a weak TP for Dublin/East coast and therefore sensitive to dish alignment/LNB skew?

Is there a list of weaker TP in general or how would you know?.

You have to examine the details on Lyngsat. You will see that 11023 is on the UK beam, and the next one 11038 is on the Europe beam. If you click on 11023 and UK you will see the map and dish size recommendations. All the BBC transponders are very strong.

11038 is a lot weaker with me. Note that they have a disclaimer about all signals not necessarily being the same Equivalent isotropic radiated power (EIRP). Lyngsat does not show any recent changes to 11023, but another site KingofSat shows that some of the channels changed their FEC to 23000 on 17 October. Were you watching them on 11023 since then? Make sure you are using the exact paramaters as published. KingofSat says 11024 but that doesn't matter. Click on the plus sign beside the channel name for the details.

If you want to see more details about footprints and other information, SatBeams is a good site also.

Thanks, no joy even with triple checking the numbers on 11023 and 11024. Standard Sky mesh dish fitted by themselves about 5 years ago for Sky HD (60cm??)

. Can only think it must be slightly misaligned or skew off.

    11038 V 2/3 I get a signal on 71% AGC 9.2dB 45% SNR

Thanks, I'll have to get someone to realign it I think as also missing the odd TP.

Might get new a LNB at the same time and change it to Unicable II for future proofing (while having Legacy back up)
