    I'm having trouble with notifications on Gmail and outlook. Can anyone recommend another email app I could try?

    If you're having issues with both, it's more likely a system issue. Go into settings, apps, Gmail and switch off battery saver.

    What phone are you using?

    Fairemail for me. Used to have the paid version of maildroid but recently gmails stopped working.

    Switch to fairemail and I don't regret it

    Not sure if you get this sorted, but I had a similar issue for ages.

    In the end it was system storage and I needed more than 25% free (roughly)
