I'm addicted to MrBallen's strange, creepy, dark stories. Each one is just about 20 minutes long, and often the maddest sh*t imaginable.

is anyone listen to The Gambler, by Nicola Talent. I read a review the weekend that gave it great praise. I’m after listening to all available episodes and I really can’t understand the point of it.
he’s a self confessed con artist, who had a book coming out about it. The podcast starts out about how he might not be who he says he is. But there’s almost nothing in it of interest so far.

It's rare that I am in this forum but someone recommended me the Who Killed JFK podcast and I binged my way through it in 4 days. Absolutely brilliant!

The scary part is that you could see a lot of this going the same way today such is the absurdity of Trump.

Anyone listen to the titanic podcast from Noiser?
I thought it was absolutely brilliant and kept me interested from the start right up to the end.
Paul Mcgann is an excellent narrator.

I haven't listened to that one but Paul Mcgann is excellent he does A Short History Of which is also Noiser

I just twigged the name and he's the same Paul Mcgann from Withnail and I! Obvious to others maybe, but news to me

Yeah, it was very good. Found it mixed old and new information well. Plus he has a family connection to Titanic.

More than a little pissed off when he discussed the carry on of titanic inc.

I think Mcgann only did the 1st series of A short History.

It's been John Hopkins narrating for quite a while now.

A while a go I listened to a few episodes of Knowledge Fight, it looks at episodes of Infowars which is hosted by Alex Jones. The episodes I listened to were 703 & 704 which looks at his show on the morning of 911, and episode 243 which deals with the 2014 Ebola outbreak.

You know how someone tends to pop up and say how Alex Jones predicted 911? Direct them to episodes 703 & 704, the man was incapable of interpreting current events, let alone predict future events.

A few things over the last while.

We Have Ways of Making You Talk: The Battle Of Britain - The Dowding System

Sources and Methods. NPR national security run through

All episodes of Cold Blooded: Mystery in Alaska. This was about a murder of a doctor. Don't ask me summarise as I forget most of it. I wasn't sure of the narrator at first but that could be because I listen to things at x1.4 speed

Fans the BBC series 13 Minutes to the Moon may be interested in the latest series about the space shuttle. Don't think we had a separate thread for the original one. 10 episodes out since July
