Mixed paint - a question for the professionals.

    Thanks guys for all the input. Much appreciated.

    So I have washed down that part of the wall and needless to say more paint has come off but it's pretty much localised to just under the extractor hood. As I wiped further to the sides the paintwork was fine. I've also given it a good rub with sandpaper and I'll tackle a bit of repainting in the afternoon.

    The splashback is a great suggestion.

    it's handy to have around the house but 'elbow grease' degreaser is great stuff. would be good for washing down walls like that.
