Saw a black friday offer on the FAI official store - the "pro" version of the home jersey reduced to €50 from €140 (a ridiculous price to begin with but that's for a different thread…)

However, there is also loads of stuff in the Outlet section that are heavily reduced - training tops, zips, hoodies, shorts etc. Got a jersey & a zip for 24€, there's seems to be a standard €6 shipping fee regardless of order (but free if over 75£ and in the UK?), still €30 seems good value. I know Castore has a bad rep but not had any of their stuff before myself…should do the job for training/running etc…

Thanks, some very decent prices, grabbed a few bits 🙂

Castore are supposedly crap, but it'll do me for 5-a-side

Anyone got any idea of what sizing is like, would it match up with Umbro/Adidas sizing? I find some of these new brands seem to think an old school L is now a XXXL.

Speaking of sizes, I can't figure them out at all. Looking for a 12/13 yr old boy but no idea what that would be with the JL,JM,JS. Any help much appreciated🙏

My young lad (9) has a Castore t-shirt from a summer camp. It's a JM in UK size, and also says 146cm in EUR size on the tag.

Edit: found a size guide here:

Thanks for that. I found there size guide which seems to say JL is 12-13 so might take a gamble 😬

    Are Ireland leaving Castore?

Is this a fire sale, or simply changing designs?

Design changes as far as I know, they should have followed Newcastle and dropped them to go back to Adidas, our best years were in Adidas 😁.

Nice find OP. Does anyone know if the branding & badge are heat applied or embodied on the pro jersey? It's pity that the pro version has the sponsor on it.

Thanks OP, few little bits for the young fella there.

Is the new Irish home top now mostly white? The one we wore v Finland?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 809 ✭✭✭rodders999

that’s actually the 3rd kit and there’s a pretty decent chance it will never be worn again.

Just the usual modern football world, of teams not wearing their home kit when they are at home.

    Happening all the time now.

Are they slow dispatching? Ordered stuff Sunday evening (confirmed) but nothing since

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 15,437 ✭✭✭✭retalivity

I ordered Fri eve, still nothing from them.

When I click the link in my order confirmation email, it does say shipping could take 5-7 days…

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,782 ✭✭✭ASOT

Cheers for this, have ordered some training gear.

They are very slow to dispatch. I ordered the third kit last year for St Patrick's Day, and it took 25 days. I was getting it shipped to Malta, though, but it still took ages to dispatch.

They refunded me the cost of the jersey after a complaint to be fair to them

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 248 ✭✭Gerlad

I'd imagine a ton of orders have gone in as I see they have now sold out on a lot of stock. Hopefully they arrive before the pudding.

God, I both love and hate this time of the year :-)

    Thanks OP

I don't know if this is allowed on here and apologise if it's not

When buying football jerseys use soccer04.shop

Jerseys take about 3/4 weeks to arrive and cost no more than 16/17 a jersey and you can get any name on them for extra 1 or 2 euro

Their are obviously not real but you wouldn't know the different and they gave all the tags on them.

Their is a thread on the soccer forum, about soccer04 and other sites but I've been using soccer04 for years now
