ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 CPU Recommendation

    Hello, I am just about to purchase a new ThinkPad T14 Gen 5. But I'm struggling to decide on which CPU option to choose.

    It's between the Intel Core Ultra 5 125H or the AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 8840U.

    Basically going to be using it for college work, word processing, excel, CAD, etc.

    I have looked at some benchmarks and they are very close on paper. Just looking to know is there any other reasons that I should pick one over the other.

    the amd ryzen looks the better option ,

    the screen options etc might be different on the different versions
