Self monitoring options

I have a hikvision alarm system, which has the capability to be self monitored through an app.

Is it possible for me to pay someone for access to their server and connect my alarm through the app, and how much does this coost?

I havent used the Hik Alarm but do you not need to scan the QR code into hik connect APP to have access on the phone?

Did you install the system yourself?

The actual alarm I have is a pyronix hikvision.

I don't believe I can access the app for free, but open to correction on that.

I know how to get the information, but I need an app password.

They started out by charging me 85 but gone up to 150 a year now.

Crazy price increase.

Sounds like you have a pyronix enforcer or Euro panel installed and this panel is locked to the installers cloud account.

I have tried a few times to transfer accounts but with no luck, your installer is the only one that can release the panel😡

Possibly another installer can slave a second unit to the main panel which triggers alerts to your phone. It may not indicate zone etc, but you may be able to arm, disarm and get notified of an alarm event.

Ye think that is the only solution from the digging I've done.

Securiguard own the alarm pretty much by way of owning the IP module.

My own fault for not looking into it more when signing up.

You could have the control panel replaced if they have you locked out

Thats the keypad off the Euro panel.

You could upgrade the control panel and use the devices in place with another panel once its all wired.
