    The Greatest Showman one is mine and is so far removed from what I usually listen to. Never saw the film but saw Loren on Got Talent and couldn't believe the story. She has an amazing voice.

    Favourite category without a doubt and it's a total mixed bag songwise.

    Paul McCartney - hate it. It's like he got 3 different songs that were languishing in the back of his wardrobe and mashed them altogether for the 007 payday. And I love PMC.

    Greatest Showman has fantastic songs - this one isn't one of them though. Meh. Least favourite on the ost.

    My dad loves James Horner and used to play the Braveheart and Titanic soundtracks on a loop in the house. Love this.

    Dirty Dancing song - Peak wedding song. This is a classic.

    Die Hard - NO. I will not listen to a Christmas song outside of December. And Die Hard isn't a Christmas movie - its only Christmas adjacent so I can't give this a vote.

    From the lounge: That Natasha Bedingfield song is nice - Never heard it before. I love Grosse Point Blank and that Violent Femmes song. Would've been top for me today.

    As for my entry - I am not a fan of dancey music at all but I am very comfortable saying that Daft Punk's soundtrack to Tron Legacy is a goddamn masterpiece.

    Top for me today are Braveheart and The Time of My Life.

    Just an update on how the rest of the game will go

    We got more players than expected and one round had no result so we need a song category for last round before the final

    The final itself will be contested by 3 finalists, each will send me 3 songs.

    I plan on running the final next weekend, so this weekend again we will pause

    Please think about your nominations for these categories, if you can send me the first one by next Thursday if you are obviously still in the game. Hope the finalists will have their compilations ready for Friday night

    Next Friday - Best of Britain, any song by a British act

    Final

    Freestyle - any song, your lead single if you win in hopes of reaching Xmas No. 1

    Duet - Any duet

    Xmas - Any Xmas song, Molly will have a meltdown

    Maybe jumping ahead of myself but how the final voting will work.

    Everyone except the 3 finalists will have 2 votes which can be used in 3 ways, put 2 votes on one player, put one vote each on two players, or only put one vote on one player and leave the other vote. Voting for the final will be via PM

    I doubt I'll make it that far anyway but are there not 4 categories there? Do the finalists send 4 songs (one for each category) or 12 songs (three for each category)?

    @lassykk absolutely love this song. I'm still not a converted Musicals fan and I'm kinda glad not to see the category in the game 😛 But The Greatest Showman was a great film and I'm sure I'd even be willing to watch it again because of the songs.

    @Sephiroth_dude nice song and I'd love it in a movie scene but I didn't vote for it just because I don't like listening to music without lyrics. I need to be able to sing along to a song

    @y0ssar1an22 never heard this before. I really like it. Think it's my fave of this round ☺️

    Also, I prob won't be adding it to any of my playlists but really liked @Irish Aris submission. It's very interesting, I'll have to have a few more listens.

    My own song - I don't think many people like the band, the song, OR the movie! 😆

    It's from Wuthering Heights. I loved that movie and the song from the first time I heard it.

    I'm sure I've even submitted it before.

    Both that song, and the Rag n Bone Man one had been submitted more than this time.

    Buuuuut, I pinky promise I won't submit either again. I've got it all out of my system now, lol
