well we can’t go any further on that one then? A very childish attitude.

really the point with the attendance issue if you weren’t there you couldn’t have known what it was like to be there with the partisan crowd three of us were absolutely surrounded with Offaly supporters with not another KK fan in sight. If you are familiar with Tullamore we entered at the stand side walked all around to the far corner of the pitch all along the main terrace and met four KK people, this is what I’m trying to get through to people, not the bad attendance but rather the situation I found myself in. I know the timing was bad during the working week and the venue didn’t make easy and if you’re too thick to understand that I don’t know what to say, I also stated that if given the choice I would have gotten rid of all three managers. What’s your own opinion on Niall Bergins era considering he was also a selector with Richie Mulrooney prior to that?

well there is a vacancy in the Boro but Mark has served his time and got as much out of that group as he could have. If he wanted to come back I would have no problem with that.I seem to be answering your questions but the one question I asked you refused to answer. COWARD.

Love the guys with low post counts that come into this thread and just try to derail it. Just ruins a very good thread.

Your supposed to reply to comments posted with your opinions not to try and make little of someone who is contributing about hurling on this tread.

Did Thomastown win today? No mention on any Kilkenny social media

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,067 ✭✭✭kksaints

They're not playing until next Sunday. St Lachtains won their match today.

saw the u21 semi today, no programmes which isn’t great for the neutral

Gbc never really got going and only Aron Mcevoy scored for them upto about 55 mins.. Neary had some decent moments in the first half but didn’t dominate & Corcoran was well minded but village goalie made one wonder save from him

I didnt know all the village backs but I thought there no.4 was good and 6 was big and fast

In attack McDermott was good as was the minor Deely.. Lauhof was in and out of it but got one brilliant score

I’d say the village will have 4/5 on u20 panel anyway

Great performance from the village today, very strong balanced team, Mcdermott and Lahouf are serious handfuls. 2 good prospects when they they fill out properly. There was another big game down south today Glenmore have 3/4 lads playing that are rumoured to be on the Kilkenny senior panel, surprising to see them beat today.

Who have Glenmore got at that age in the Kilkenny seniors? I know people have said the younger of the two Verekers but surely they have noone else in there

I was expecting a cracker but Ballycallan lacked a bit of drive Corcoran could have done fierce damage if he had anyone with him. Fourteen wides. The village were very good and will go a long way winning it a year before their time. I wasn’t expecting a charge on the gate which was a fiver the steward said the CB wanted to charge a tenner. Not even a team sheet which I always thought if there is a charge on the gate then a team sheet has to be provided. On another issue cash at the gate acceptable but not up the road in Nowlan park. And a lot of people not bothered going because of this stubbornness not to do cash and card I think they are losing out big time.

Tommy Shefflin ratified as senior camogie manager.

    David Maher minor manager

    Canice Brennan U16 manager

Billy Reid and I assume it's Darragh Vereker called in??

Also Cathal Beirne who was on extended panel year just gone too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,603 ✭✭✭Village87

Do Glenmore not have Cathal Beirne underage ? He had a great year with Glenmore seniors, talk of him in with seniors. Also young Vereker. Is there a Billy Reid also touted as Kilkenny senior. Also the other Bryne can't remember his name first name, his father refs

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,369 ✭✭✭JJs Left Hand

Didn't realise they were still U21. The U20 at county level is throwing me. Same with Luke Connellan from Thomastown. Don't think any of them are good enough myself but I suppose that's the position we're in.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 313 ✭✭jamesbond2022

Ian Byrne was in with kk seniors last few years pretty sure he’s 23 24 now

Tullogher well worth their victory over Glenmore today at u21.

    Should have won by more.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 412 ✭✭Krazy gang

Yes cathal Beirne and Billy Reid. Ian byrne the refs son is overage. Darragh vereker would be very young to be in with the seniors

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 412 ✭✭Krazy gang

I see galmoy /. Windgap best danesfort in u21 today. Must be so disheartening to be beaten by a combination especially when there's no need for it and every other club is going on their own. Correct me if I'm wrong but windgap have 3 adult teams. Beggars belief this is still gong

I’m pretty sure this is the Tullogher age group that lost the Roinn A minor final so they would be very strong and expecting to win the B. They would have the likes of Lar Murphy, Jamie Lyng, Marty Murphy, Danny Glennon etc.
