    Hi any help appreciated.

So my partner and I live separately he owns his own house. I rent from private landlord through council. We have talked about getting married but since he has children whom stay over on set days. And I have 2 children who live with me full time. We are wondering can we marry but basically continue living the way we are? As it wouldn't work to move in together he only has a 3 bedroom house.. we would apply to be taxed separately with revenue. And live separately... its not ideal but we don't think a blended family 8 people most of the time under one (3 bedroom) roof.

What would be the point of getting legally married?

Maybe just have a commitment ceremony with a party for your friends, and continue to live as you are.

    Do not get married.
