Does anyone know will the airpods pro 2 hearing aids feature be available in Ireland?

I have a feeling it won't as I've installed the latest software update and I'm not seeing it.

Yeah, it's definitely working for me as per the screenshot below. Just ensure that you update the AirPods Pro 2 to Version 7B19 and the Phone to IOS 18.1

If you want to check the firmware on the pods. Click on Settings then Airpods Pro and scroll down and see Version.

As stated this should be 7B19.

PaulT how are you finding them?

Seems to take a bit of getting "used to", for me.

I find any movement cause chirping. I have tried changing the silica tips from the ones selected by the test. But still chirping.

Definitely work but the short battery life is a bit of a PIA.

To be honest I don’t use them at all. I suspect it’s just Apple increasing the number of health related metrics (maybe not the correct term) that their products are capable of but with limitations like the battery life you have mentioned. Most people who will require hearing aids will get dedicated tech.

I actually have hearing aids and I carried out a hearing test with my airpods a couple of weeks ago, I sent on the test to my audiologist for him to look over, we actually had a discussion earlier this year about apple bring out this feature on their airpods. Anyway, here is what he replied to me about my test results

"Test results are not bad actually...compares fairly ok with your actual data. Lacks subtle variations in your full profile and has no info on the middle ear component which is critical for your hearing aid fitting"

If you have a hearing test report from your audiologist you can load this into your airpods. Don't know if the inner ear aspect etc is covered in the graphs.

Interested how people who are using them are getting on with them? Contemplating buying them for my father, although he hates wearing pods
