TCL 65C855K and TCL in general

Hi There,

I've been eyeing up the 65C855K for last month or so and it looks like a great TV, reviews online show it is "almost" as good as some OLEDS out there apart from some dark contrasts vs expensive OLEDS. (I say almost 😬)

1) What are your thoughts/feedback/opinions on this model as I think the specs look great on it for the price?

2) What are thoughts on TCL in general?
The reason I ask this question is I visited a fairly-well-known electrical retailer in past few weeks to view TCL tv's.
(Two of their branches - I wont name them) and on both occasions was pushed away from TCL, was told they are coming back damaged as quickly as they are being sold and that MINI-LED means more LED's which means more problems 🙄.

I know these guys probably get more commission and/or have more wriggle room on Sony/Samsung LG etc.
But wanted to get some other feedback on them, if that's possible?
I also see you guys half some half-price offers on sounds systems if bought with TV so looks good.

The C855K isn't a model I've seen myself but we do have a C805k on display and I've been very impressed with their mini LED panels. The spec on the C855K is fantastic so I daresay it would give a great picture, especially compared to how the C805K performs.

On the unreliability comments - to be honest we've sold a lot of TCLs, they've been very popular since they've been released and I can't remember when the last faulty one we had back was - they seem to be very reliable as well.
