Hi, DIY novice here hoping for some help. I'm currently trying to install a video doorbell but I'm worried I've messed up my external insulation. The screws and plugs that came with the doorbell don't seem to go deep enough to get to the original house underneath the insulation. I've also unfortunately drilled holes that are misaligned so I need to fill one of them. Does anyone know the best filler to use to fill one of the holes, does it have to be one specifically for insulation? Would I be better off sticking the doorbell on with no more nails?

Overall concern is not damaging/compromising the insulation, I will scrap the doorbell if needs be. Appreciate any help as I'm a bit lost!
