The Israeli attacks on hospitals, medical facilities, healthcare workers, sick & wounded people and ambulances have broken every international humanitarian law we have and yet they continue to do it. They are led by monsters.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth House?

Not being content with their savagery in Gaza, the IDF are dishing it out in Lebanon too.

This girl is two years old.

    Two. Years. Old.

    Orla Guerin, BBC:

Ivana’s family was about to flee their home in southern Lebanon. An Israeli missile got there first. Now the two-year-old has third-degree burns on almost half her body. Her head and arms are encased in bandages.

Ivana looks lost lying a full-size bed in the burns unit of Geitaoui Hospital in Beirut. She is tiny and doll-like, but her cries are all too real. As she winces in pain, her father Mohammed Skayki fans her face, trying to distract her.

He recounts how his daughter’s skin and flesh was melted away.

It was noon, on 23 September – the day Israel began a massive bombardment of southern Lebanon, paving the way for its invasion a week later. There was no specific evacuation order for his area from the Israeli army, but the explosions were getting closer.

"On Friday morning, Gaza’s health ministry said in a statement Israeli forces had “stormed” Kamal Adwan hospital and were detaining hundreds of patients, medical staff and displaced people inside. In the afternoon, the ministry said displaced men had been forced to take off their clothes and that some had been arrested.

A number of medical staff, including the director of the hospital Dr Hussam Abu Safiya, had also not been heard from since they were summoned to see Israeli forces stationed in the courtyard, it added.

A video posted on social media late on Thursday showed Dr Abu Safiya speaking on the telephone while walking through a busy ward with what appeared to be a shatter window and a damaged ceiling.

“Instead of receiving aid we receive tanks. Tanks that are shelling the building,” he says.

Eid Sabbah, the director of nursing, said in a voice note to Reuters news agency early Friday: "At midnight, the occupation army tanks and bulldozers reached the hospital. The terrorising of civilians, the injured and children began as [the Israeli forces] started opening fire on the hospital.”

He said the Israeli forces retreated when a delegation from the WHO arrived with an ambulance and evacuated some patients. However, tanks later returned to the surrounding area and opened fire at the hospital, hitting its oxygen stores, before troops began a raid and ordered staff and patients to leave, he added.

The ministry said two children had died in the intensive care unit after the hospital’s generators stopped and the oxygen station was hit, but there were no similar reports from medics or the WHO.

You claimed that they were all "murdered" and you're not alone in this.

The poster I replied to was literally doing just that. As to the dead and refugees, maybe you should blame their government, you know, the ones who started an all-out war.

I'm not sure what alternative universe you purport to live in, but in this reality, people dying and being made refugees tends to happen in all-out war.

Starmer knows what happens when you criticise Israel. He's seen what happened with Corbyn (and was even part of the attack on him). So, he now plays the game.

The problem with Jeremy Corbyn was that he was too honest. He declared he was in favour of a Palestinian statehood and as soon as he did that, he made himself a target for Israel and ended up being a victim of a targeted & concerted smear campaign.

reports now of what israel was after last nite in iran:

Decker Eveleth, an associate research analyst at the thinktank CNA noted that a satellite image showed that an Israeli strike destroyed two buildings in Khojir where solid fuel for ballistic missiles was mixed. Images of Parchin showed that Israel destroyed three ballistic-missile solid-fuel mixing buildings and a warehouse, he said.

“Israel says they targeted buildings housing solid-fuel mixers,” Eveleth said.

These industrial mixers are hard to make and export-controlled. Iran imported many over the years at great expense, and will likely have a hard time replacing them.

"Israeli strike crippled Iran's missile production - report

Israel’s strikes against Iran on Saturday morning took out a critical component in the Iranian ballistic missile programme, Axios is reporting.

Israel hit 12 “planetary mixers” used to produce solid fuel for long-range ballistic missiles, which make up the bulk of Iran’s missile arsenal, Israeli sources told the outlet.

The mixers are highly sophisticated equipment that Iran cannot produce on its own and must buy from China, they added.

The strikes severely damages Iran’s ability to renew its missile stockpile and could deter Iran from further massive missile strikes against Israel, they said.

A senior US official confirmed to the outlet that the Israeli strike cripples Iran’s missile production capability."

the reality is that antisemitism was at the same level during his leadership as it had been before it, small in reality.
it was only the nutcase element of the press that decided to use him as a reflection of a version of the circles he moved in that they created, a fantasy version.

I'm very highly educated. I know words, i have the best words, nobody has better words then me.

BN is a megalomanic with lackeys doing his work and paying for it . Namely in order the IDF and USA . He’s lost control . He’s like a rabid dog gone wild with Joe Biden here poochy , good dog to allay him if that makes sense

Starmer also has relatives in Israel through marriage. I think like Biden, his support is deeply personal.

It's absolutely disgusting seeing what Israel is doing in the Middle East. Anyone that isn't just a complete animal would be naturally appalled by it. Bombing hospitals, bombing Red Cross facilities, targeting civilians, blocking humanitarian aid, murdering journalists?

There's no justification for that. None whatsoever.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,934 ✭✭✭dmcdona

I can't speak for anyone else but to me, your posts indicate that you certainly are in the minority. There are pro-israelis who do condemn the killing of civilians. But not you.

You refuse to condemn any action by the IDF. Your only red line was the killing of any Irish UNIFIL peacekeepers. You have no compassion for civilians - they are just "collateral damage".

You would just shrug your shoulders and post "well that's on Hamas" if I told you that 115 children under the age of 8 months have been killed in the last year. 47 of those were aged three months or less.

You have no moral compass. You continue to evade the "genocide" discussion because you support it.

I think you are the one living in an alternative universe.

So they just buy another mixer from China? It's not a solid rocket fuel mixer, it's a milk churner!
But it appears Israel hit key sites from that analysis, not to mention the AA sites they took out, meaning the next time it will be easier for Israel to ingress into Iran. Doesn't appear any Iranian airplanes were targeted, show's just have little of a threat that is to Israel.

Amazing to think North Korea have nukes and Iran don't.

History will not be kind on this era or on the various cheerleaders for the atrocities. In ten year' time, Netanyahu will be widely seen as a vulgar war criminal and the regime he ran as a racist and apartheid state. There's no way Israel can rehabilitate itself from this, not in the near future anyway.

Exactly what the thread is trying to highlight . The years to come will have people saying I never realised etc etc . It’s the 21st century , it’s all there on your phone . Just open your fcuking eyes

overall it looks like israel wanted to take out iran's ballistic missile, drone production, radar and advanced anti aircraft capabilities to the extent israel could "

develop air superiority there for any possible upcoming IAF operations - in such a way that Israeli fighter jets would be able to fly even at a relatively low altitude in the skies of Tehran itself in the future."

I'd love to hear the details of the attack, maybe years from now it will come out.

Not sure why the IDF would want to fly low level in the future though, taking out radars and AA makes flying higher safer. You don't need to fly low level if you have air superiority.

I wouldn't be holding my breath on that. They've been at it for decades. All the way back to the nakba denial that we've seen in various forms on here and that was accepted dishonestly by the West as a means to pretend they didn't know the murder and stealing that the zionists built their state on.

I've said this before but seriously, you really need to look at yourself in a mirror. The lengths you jump through to justify the indefensible really needs critical self reflection on your part.

Any fault like with Hezbollah who've been launching attacks into Israel for months now? Do they get a free pass?

This is a bit mad really. British forces to bring aid to 'gated communities' in Gaza. I mean wealthy people in Florida live in gated communities. Or maybe they're talking about the gated communities they plan on setting up once the Gazans have been expunged. Or maybe they've just misspelled prisons/concentration camps?

While I'd say your man in the article is likely a Walter Mitty type, I wouldn't be entirely surprised if the zionists announced they were inviting what's left of the Wagner Group in to help them with their Gaza ambitions

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,066 ✭✭✭✭Danzy

The Wagner group fought side by side with hezbollah, the palestinian ally

When all the planets little wars start holding hands are we still going to blame Israel for starting WW111?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,327 ✭✭✭✭Donald Trump

If you take a few minutes there to read up a little on them you will quickly discover that they were a mercenary group i.e. they would fight for the highest bidder. In addition, their main man Prigozhin was an oligarch. Given the surprisingly high number of oligarchs with Israeli citizenship, the zionist regime would have plenty of in-house contacts to get them started

Just because Israel tacitly supported the ISIS side of the Syrian conflict - in reaction to Iran supporting al-Assad - it doesn't mean that the likes of Wager would never fight alongside in another conflict.

I mean, the article posted literally tells you it will be a mercenary force.

Across the beaches and cranes, rivers and trains
All the money I've made, bodies I've maimed
Time was when I seemed to know
Just like any other G.I. Joe
Should I cry like a baby, or die like a man
While the planet's little wars start joining hands
Oh, what a heaven, what a hell
Y'know there's nothing can be done in this whole wide world

Imagine for a second what happened on October 7th happened to us in Ireland.
Every muslim walking the streets here would be attacked and there would be carnage. The guards would not be able to control it.

Yet Isreal is expected to do nothing, turn its cheek and even apologise to their attackers.
And even than Isreal would be despised by some quarters

Put yourself in Israel’s place, , October 7th happens and then instead of the people of the powerful west standing with you you actually see protests across the west cheering what happened and saying you deserved it. I believe Those protests pushed Israel’s hand to do what their doing now, they see the west changing and now is the time for war with Iran while they still have strong support in America.

We have had 3 children, teacher and rescuer's attacked in Dublin.

Terrorist attacks in Paris, Manchester etc. and we haven't gone looking for retaliation against other innocent people?

If there's one thing I really despise, it's camouflaged political language. "Gated Communities", for fuck sake. 🙄
