Im looking for a scope, for gallery shooting. Not sure if what Im thinking of is available or not, but are there any scopes with illumination designed to bracket a target, with a centre dot or ring, that anyone knows of. Im thinking of rapid acquiring the target.

A lot of gallery shooters use a Bushnell Banner 6-18x 50. Good enough to start off with and not too expensive.

A lot of championship winning scores put in using them.

    You don't need illumination

Thanks Clive, I'll look that scope up, Ive seen someone had a scope setup for shooting a different competition with an illuminated centre dot and I liked it, too many scopes have too much in the reticle for my liking. I think Luepold do one with a centre ring though.

Vortex Crossfire II can be got with a Duplex and center dot. The V Brite model has Illumination but you wont see it on a Bright day, they should have called it V Dull.

Leupold will be daylight bright but comes with a hefty price tag, and most that I have seen are parallaxed at 150 or 100m.
