Reading Myself Out of a Rut

I go through my reading in fits and spurts. Currently trying to read myself out of a rut and I'm hoping that keeping a log will get me back on track.

    Currently Reading:

Born a Crime - Trevor Noah

Usually more of a fiction reader and I genuinely had little to knowledge of Trevor Noah when I picked this on a whim from the library. Not too far into it but really enjoying the insights into South African culture more so than the biographical details which I imagine is because of my lack of knowledge of Noah beforehand. He's a good writer of his own story at the very least.

Ended up really liking this, enjoyed his recent interview with Louis Theroux as well.

    Currently Reading:

    The Bat - Jo Nesbo

My rut is still going strong but I've always found crime fiction can help me slip out of one. It's not bad, tropey as anything but I'm almost finished after 2 days of reading so it must be doing something right. Next on the list is Stephen King's latest, a rec from my brother.
