hmmmm....this looks like the Fitzwilliam Institute sneakily trying to draw attention.

Does anyone know if there is any colleges outside of Dublin that do CIPD courses? Would a Cert in HR be sufficient instead of CIPD?

I noticed in some of the online colleges that it is cheaper nearly to do a whole award then just a few modules.

I found this lot the cheapest https://progressivecollege.ie/courses/ especially with the extra discount and so far I am enjoying their course.

I opted for online only so I can do it and watch the lectures in my own time.

I have heard great things about The open college from people that have done courses with them and their SNA course is excellent. https://www.theopencollege.com/courses/

Great suggestion! Many people aren't aware of the wide variety of evening and adult education courses offered by local VECs (Vocational Education Committees). These courses can be a fantastic way to learn new skills or pursue interests outside of work. As you mentioned, it's worth checking out the websites for VECs in your area, such as City of Dublin VEC, Kildare VEC, or Wicklow VEC, as well as others nationwide. If you can't find the course information online, definitely give them a call and speak to the Adult Education Officer—they'll be able to help guide you to the right resources. A quick Google search should lead you to the specific VECs across the country. Thanks for sharing that info!
