    You just know that it's been used in ads for at least 10 different **** RTE shows, including at least 2 episodes each of Ireland's Fittest Family and Dancing With The Staff.

    The whole Wagon Wheel phenomenon completely passed me by at the time.

    A few years later I was living in London and couldn't understand why Irish people were telling everyone that it was something "we" were into.

    Apparently according to them "we" are all huge fans of doing Rock the Boat too. Also something that seems to have bypassed my world.

    Little James was also written by Liam. The lyrics in it are so bad. This is when oasis turned to muck. Be here now was great, this next album was when it all started to go wrong.

    i like the sterophonics , any song by sam smith ,i used to listen to q102 after 7pm, they seem to play the same 100 songs in random order .

    I tend to listen to Newstalk, so don't have much exposure to modern music, but three stand out as songs I do not want to hear ever again

    'All the Single Ladies', that song is just painful to hear, when it was big... it was unavoidable. Hopefully it stays as dead as a Dodo.

    'Driving Licence', utter garbage of wallowing in self misery, which again was unavoidable a few years ago.

    'Around The World', for the life of me I never understood the appeal of Daft Punk, the songs just seem to be the same sample repeated for the entire song. This one was no different... but with the irritation dialled upto 11.

    Clever word play may win debates, but it doesn't make it true.

    Understanding and explaining things, is not the same as justifying them, if in doubt… please re-read this statement.

    the Eagles - Hotel California. I dunno why it’s just, nahhhh, it’s one of the most popular songs of the 1970’s… never got the popularity of the Eagles either, tonnes better bands / artists of the same genre around the same era.

    The Rolling Stones - Satisfaction… not a bad song, but one of the most overplayed for years and they almost always play it live, iconic guitar riff but jeez the Stones must have a few dozen better songs.

    That "country" version of 'tipsy' is annoying me at the minute, could do without it

    You can always trust Irish radio stations to drag up some dreck from about 10 years ago - this time it's Pink and the lead "singer" of one-hit wonders FUN with "Just Give Me A Reason". It's just 4 minutes of sad shouting into a microphone tailored for suburban Americans to caterwaul along to in their obese Jeep.

    Marching On Together (the Leeds United Song), I watched the Leeds match on TV on Friday and I can't get the **** thing out of my head now.

    I've been watching re-runs of the programme "New Tricks" on UK Drama channel...good show but my god that theme song "It's Alright, It's Okay" is just absolutely awful!!

    Which makes me press the mute button at the start and the end of the programme.
