Jarvis was in the Hull squad and getting plenty of game time in the first part of the season. But he hasn’t been in the match day squad for the last 3 games or so. No idea if that’s down to form or injury.

He was coming off the bench to play on the right wing, but Hull spent 5 mil on a new right winger at the end of the transfer window which coincides with his last appearance in the squad.

I've been watching most Hull games to see how they do under Walter and Jarvis didn't look out of place in his limited minutes, but he didn't do anything to stake a claim in the squad either to be honest.

How Shels could do with him now !

Collins, McGlynn and Cawley.. Are RTÉ trying to stop people complaining they’re only on 5 mins before matches?

Wexford 1 up at half time. Cat amongst the pigeons here. Can Drogheda turn it around ?

Excellent 1st half from Wexford and they probably deserve their lead. Drogheda have been bad, no other way to put it. On paper you'd think they'd turn it around but they need to be a lot better.

Some drama here. Just when it looked like Drogheda had turned it around and would see the game out Wexford go straight down the other 3nd and equalise.

Wexford's second was a super goal. Lovely ball from the fullback and Oluwya did Quinn easily.

Unfortunate way for Wexford to lose and their goals were very well worked. But Drogheda did improve a lot in the 2nd half and Wexford's defending was just too iffy at times.

Ya the header at the back post for equaliser was really weak and they were outworked on the 2 set pieces then.

I thought Ali Coote had surpassed Jarvis in greatness though?

That’s practically blasphemous. Wash your mouth out 😀

Another defeat for Shelbourne. Derry have the double sealed now.

Unless Shels turn their form on their head I hope they don't win the title, you'd want to see a Champions performance and they're failing badly on that. Very hard to see them win it out now.

    Now that's game over.

Going to be some finish to this league now.

Even though quality is not great

The drama of the next few weeks will be golden

I'd stick my money on Rovers retaining the title

Shels have literally fallen apart. If they don't win the league, this season will truly haunt them.

Rovers have stepped up a level the last couple of months, Derry on their day can be excellent but they're very inconsistent. Looks like it's between both of them alright. Unless Pats can do something mental.

Shels have absolutely fallen apart the last few months.

That penalty decision for Derry against Rovers could end up being huge.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,598 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

But how funny would it be if they lose their last 3 (entirely possible), finish 4th and miss Europe when Drogs beat Derry after they led the league since, when, March?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35,354 ✭✭✭✭NIMAN

Wouldn't be so sure about that.

We have been consistently inconsistent this season. More points to be dropped I suspect. Pats going well and Sligo our bogey team. Would be against form if we won both of those.

And home to Shels by no means a certain 3pts.

Yes it's in our hands now for sure. Have we the guts to do it?

I'm very much afraid so. I've felt that way for a while but felt they were gone after Pats game. Can't stand them but thats just a long standing gripe from a long time LOI follower.

There is absolutely very little to nothing behind that frontman Temple. The club will certainly be in SCARP.

Rovers have been playing the best football all season and should be well ahead in the League table.

As there’s a few predictions, couldn’t resist a look at fixtures, Derry edge it by a point, with pats, shams and shels all on 59

Shams drop 2pts away to drogheda. That was a last day draw with Derry/shels but in saying that…it’s often the team who needs the win over the draw…

As a harps fan, I hope I’m wrong on the overall😂

Was always gonna be difficult for us with the amount of players we were missing tonight, but thought we were decent enough, and got very little from Doyle throughout the game.

Obviously nobody will be predicting us to win it at this stage, and that’s very understandable, but look, we just need to win 2 home games against Drogheda and Waterford and we’re in a title decider on the last day. 2 wins has been a challenge for us of late tbf but hopefully 2 weeks can allow us get some bodies back.

I actually think after a poor start, Shels played well. Difference on the night was Rovers were lethal with clinical finish’s. Save against Boyd was massive at 1-0, that’s probably a goal 9/10 in this league.

I’d actually be encouraged by tonight (been at our last 3 games and that was our best performance) if we hadn’t been in such poor form for so long. Leagues probably gone now, but still been a great season for me.

How can league be gone? It’s literally in our hands.
