Another question about a 1940’s bungalow

    Hi everyone,


    would anyone have a fair idea as to what that hole is at the side of the house? I’ve attached 2 photos. There’s one on the right side at the top of the exterior and another one in the interior of the house in the kitchen close to the window on the opposite side of the house. The house was built in 1940 and it’s G rated.

    What about the internal one? That's most interesting.

    Is this a house that you're viewing (hence can't obtain better)?

    That hole in the gable above might be a really sloppy gable-vent, but I also see what look like bolts or mounting points below it, I'm thinking that there may have been a TV aerial/disk at that point, and during the removal process the stone-work fell away… hard to know. Somebody else might know better.
