Yes I know of people who have taken career breaks. But you can't take a career break to work in another part of the public sector, has to be private sector only.

Anyone know a timeline for this if it's possible? Is it something that could take years?

Thanks that's what I was thinking. I got in touch with HRM to get the process started. Pity it takes so long for a decision to be made.

Can you not rejoin if you didnt complete probation ?? I Left in probation but im interested in rejoining.

Mental that in the current climate they wouldn't take back people that left while in probation. They should let them re join at the same stage they left.

Wondering does anyone who's commented here before know what the updated story is with this. I emailed recently and was told I would not need to re do templemore. Even though I was still in probation upon resigning.

Well to a degree, that will depend on how much the training and the law have changed in the meantime and why they left.
