    Week Ahead 12/08/2024 – Warm but not hot with some rain– Met Office weather forecast UK

    The hot weather will cling on in the southeast on Tuesday. However, a front arriving from the west will bring fresher conditions with some rain. Further rain at times through the rest of the week but warm and sunny spells too.

    Weekend weather 22/08/2024 – Mixed Bank Holiday – Met Office weather forecast UK.

    Once Storm Lilian clears into the North Sea, the weather will slowly but surely improve for most throughout this Bank Holiday weekend. However sunshine will still be limited and it’s not going to be particularly warm for many of us, next week there are signs of more widespread settled weather arriving in time for the end of summer.

    Weekend weather 29/08/2024 – Thundery showers possible – Met Office weather forecast UK

    After a mostly fine Friday, for many the fine weather will continue on Saturday but heavy possibly thunder showers will push up from the south. These are likely to become more widespread on Sunday, especially for central and eastern parts before band of rain arrives from the west for Monday. It will be a pretty warm weekend, possibly hot at times.

    11/09/2024– High pressure next week – Met Office weather forecast UK.

    This is the Met Office UK Weather forecast for the next 10 days 11/09/2024. A cold arctic wind will be replaced with warmer westerlies over the weekend. Further wet weather will move into the north but as the week progresses high pressure from the south becomes more dominant bringing many a much drier and warmer week next week.

    A change to much more unsettled and wet weather comes for southern areas through Friday and over the weekend with thunderstorms and heavy downpours likely. Not everywhere will see the rain but where it does fall there will likely be some disruption by the end of the weekend. Further north the east, west split continues with the best of any drier and brighter weather in the northwest.
