If an Israeli walks up to you and starts punching you in the face. please don't make any wild accusations against them if you call the Gardai, such as explaining that the Israeli is punching you in the face.

"wild accusation" = "refusing to blindly swallow zionist blatant gaslighting attemtps"

Let's all play that game Peggy.

This current genocide all started on 13th October when the zionists began a nonsensical ground offensive against civilians in Gaza. Since then, the murdering and destruction has been as total as the zionists have been able to make it. Of course, with their usual gaslighting, they knowingly lied that it would be over within a week or so. Anyone who is murdered or maimed by their so called precision smart weapons can be retroactively designated as a "terrorist" or else that there was a rumour that a terrorist was nearby. Which ultimately won't matter as the targets are already dead or maimed and nobody will be either bringing them back or holding the genocide perpetrators to account.

October 13th. We can all play that game of pretend.

silly q time. So the whole waklie talkie and pager scenario……..inside each device there was some kind of explosive and this explosive was detonated at roughly the same time (first day was pager, then walk or talkie) How was the signal for detonation done?

It's mad how Israel calls all it neighbouring countries terrorists while all you have to do is look at the numbers. Which terrorist in the area killed and wounded more civilians it may come as a shock to some of you but the actual terrorist state is Israel they have killed and wounded more civilians than any state or so called terrorist organisation and it's not just by a small bit their numbers of deaths and wounded civilians is astronomical. It's like comparing the population of England to Ireland that is how far the numbers are in difference.

Edit: Also this isn't just recently this has been the case since the start of their so called state.

I knew the big escalation would come eventually, but I didn't think it would come directly from Israel.

They don't give a f**k about civilians. How anybody supports them is beyond me. A terrorist nation built from the core is all they are.

So much for trying to prevent a regional conflict -

"Israel’s military chief has told troops that extensive air strikes in Lebanon targeting the armed group Hezbollah could pave the way for them to “enter enemy territory”.

"You hear the jets overhead; we have been striking all day. This is both to prepare the ground for your possible entry and to continue degrading Hezbollah," Lt Gen Herzi Halevi said."

Ireland doing it's bit to help the Palestinians from its terrorist neighbour

Well IDF tanks are at the border now and reserves have been called up. With the intense bombardment and Hezbollah's military leadership wiped out , there may not be much resistance to any ground invasion . We could in the coming days see Iran pressuring Hezbollah to give in despite publicily saying they will avenge Nasrallah's death. It's telling they haven't responded to the killing of Haniyeh either despite the threats to do so.

Apparently its in the hands of a third party (I think).

We don't need to wait for them to "strike military facilities" - Hamas and Hezbollah just go straight for the civilians. And a surprising number of people think that's fine.

I meant a standing army of another country. If Iran killed scores of Israeli civilians in a strike on an IDF facility in Tel Aviv. You wouldn't be condemning the IDF for having that facility close to civilians. You would say Iran was reckless.

If the Iranians dropped 85 tons of ordinance on a bunker in Tel Aviv to kill senior political and military leaders in Israel, that also resulted in many Israeli civilians in the vicinity being killed, would you say that such a strike would be fair game?

As for Hamas and Hezbollah attacking civilians I don't agree with it. I don't support the killing of civilians whether it's Hamas, Hezbollah or the IDF doing it.

Here's the thing though, well two things really: there are rules about when it is acceptable to risk killing civilians, and that is not "never". So no, if an army hit Tel Aviv it might or might not be a war crime, depending on a number of factors related to whether the attack was legal in the first place, what their military aim was and whether it could be achieved without the deaths of so many civilans.

And second: Hamas and Hezbollah are both standing armies. Hamas was the official government of Gaza until Oct 7th and ran both the police and justice system. As well as the education system, although they didn't waste money on paying for that themselves - the UN and other international organisations did that. But they were in charge of the Ministry for Education.

Hezbollah was pretty similar - they had representatives in the Lebanese parliament and in practice ran whole swathes of Lebanon.

This notion that they were both some sort of secret group obliged to operate in the shadows is just not true.

    here is my silly Q.

So i believe around Tel Aviv, there is the "iron dome" air defense system - which seems to do its job perfectly and intercept almost everything…….if this is the case why do they bother firing expensive missiles at Tel Aviv if they are going to more than likely get intercepted?

    Not a silly Q.

There are three systems for different missiles. Iron Dome is one of the three systems
