Oven Wiring Question

    I just got a new oven and need to wire it and a hob to the mains. I thought it would be a case of simply pulling out the old oven and swapping like-for-like but the new oven comes with standard wires at the back - no plug or terminal.

    So basically, I now have two seperate sets of standard wires from the oven and the mains and I need to connect them all together.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Photos of the wiring on the oven and on the wall as well as the model name/number would help here. 👍️

    Thanks for replying. Here's the picture of my situation, including the hob. The Oven is a Candy Idea 65L Built-In Electric Single Oven - Black | FIDCN403 and the Hob is an electriQ 60cm Sealed Plate Hob.

    It doesn't seem like a big job but I want to get it right. Thanks again.

    A 30A junction box will do it:

    It needs to be done right - The junction box needs to be mounted properly to the wall and the terminals need to be sufficiently tight and that loose earth should have slieving on it (take it off a piece of spare wire).

    If in doubt, get an electrician in. 👍️
