So this company is desperate for employees, so I wonder if I came back to them to say I can only do part time, what might they say. I’d like to work part time in two jobs for the moment, to see this new one is actually like.

I’d say be prepared to lose the job offer if your going to ask for that.
They probably won’t allow that but you never know!
