    Thanks for the input all, happy to remain a flintstone here with my 3 zones and manual rad control, which will all still work in 10 years time, and doesn't unnecessarily involve a 3rd party for app control (think Climote Ltd).

    My house is quite open plan and all rooms are used, so heating individual rooms is not a requirement and wouldn't really be suitable for how we go about our daily lives.

    That poster didn't know anything

    Fitted a few TRVs for himself and thinks anyone doesn't have them is a Flintstone

    Not saying they shouldn't be used as i don't know enough. I wonder how much time is wasted with occupants fiddling around with them.
