Can't access TM to download tomorrow's tickets for Coldplay. Sh1tshow of a service provider.

July the 19th, wasn't that the day the ice age ended?

Seems a bit nuts. I'm sure there's loads of events on today, gigs, sport, theatre etc… that people might buy for today last minute.

If my event was listed on ticketmaster I'd be looking for compensation.

I knew this would be painful but here I am 4 hours later still in the Sunday queue. They surely will add another few dates?

Gigs 2025: Flaming Lips, Pulp, Kaleidoscope, Forest Fest, Electric Picnic. Wolf Alice

The government need to ban dynamic pricing. Though then won’t the bands just get more creative with more ‘VIP’ packages/more tix assigned to these.

Whole industry needs to be regulated properly. Yes ticketmaster are c u next Tuesday’s but it’s the bands that sign off on the prices ultimately.

Moving the Irish time to 8 was an absolute disaster. See loads of people from UK who bought tix as a backup and will mostly just resell to desperate people. It should be illegal to sell tickets for more than you paid, it’s absolutely inexcusable.

If you buy tix for a gig at one location you shouldn’t be able to buy at a different location in circumstances like these. Harsh but unless touts are banned and ticketmaster behave themselves fans are just going to suffer.

It's absolutely outrageous. A completely unfit for purpose organization.

I'd have said yes if you asked me earlier in the week but it's very late in the day given that they already added extra dates pre-sale.

Yep. I'm trying to buy some other tickets too.

Why do we keep paying these f@#£%^s there extortionate fees!!

Maybe the high priced tickets aren't sold yet and they won't release other dates until all tickets are sold for a particular date.

Got 70,000 plus in queue for Dublin but then got into Murrayfield queue for around 5,500, so was hoping being in the first 5,500 I would get sorted.

Got stuck on this confirming availability message for ages, didn’t move, refreshed a few times and it let me pick tickets again but same message over and over. Eventually gave up after over an hour of confirming availability messages as it told me I had tried to request too many tickets and kicked me out.

    Disappointing

Don't open that can of worms …they're too busy making every other societal problem worse!

In 'poor taste' posting to say they got tickets? Kinell the preciousness levels ………..

Its amazing what a bit of nostalgia and FOMO can do. Saw Liam in 2019, it was mostly oasis songs, it was a terrible gig, he wasn't arsed. I got a free ticket so wasn't bothered.

I can't imagine how bad a stadium gig would be, even with Noel. I mean can they even get these 2 in the same room to rehearse? Atleast Dublin been the last dates, they'll have had some practice and should be better.

Saw Liam two months ago and it was brilliant. Looking forward to this.

When I got into Murrayfield, it had lots of options, but wouldn't let me buy any standing, and only 3 seated. Tried a couple of times before committing to the 3 seated ones

I am going to wait until the queue goes to zero. I know I'll get nothing but I just want to see what happens.

Have seen him a few times since then and he's been excellent, Kilmainham, Olympia with John Squire and The Point in past year

Peaking at definitely maybe gig in The Point

Don't disagree he has been poor in past

Was close to the offer on a UK VENUE accidentally closed the browser reopening the screen. Tried to relaunch the link from the browser history and it said connection suspended. Then as I was about get a selection on Dublin I got the same. I came away feeling this is one of the rare occasions my stupidity saved me from myself. I would probably have pulled the trigger on silly money tickets.

    Nothing about being precious.

My mates are having a bad enough day not getting tickets themselves for the last three hours. It would be a bit arsey of me to be screaming about it to them and making them feel worse. If you think I'm precious because I don't want to rub it in their faces, have at it.

I don't need the validation of people liking my Instagram post to make me feel better, I'm happy as it is.

Queue for Sunday night flying down now. Holding out just to go in, look, be appalled, and not pay € 500 for a ticket! 😑

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,469 ✭✭✭nc6000

But you've no chance of picking up those tickets anyway. I've no idea what people are doing but anytime I see any resale tickets come up they are almost instantly gone. Every single time. I find it hard to believe that someone somewhere is always faster than me.

On the ticket page now but have been blocked for being a suspected bot (Yes, I have refreshed a lot but I've done this all manually) TM is so shockingly bad.

    Demand pricing in place

    £356 for standing

    Bad form

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,433 ✭✭✭waywill1966

was in the queue for two hours and eventually got to the tickets for Croke Park but all that was left were the premium tickets at avg 500e, so no way to that. My mortgage is 800€ per month and I couldn’t justify forking out that amount for a concert!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,216 ✭✭✭HBC08

Its amazing people can't understand this.

    Same goes for hotels,restaurants etc.

It's simple supply and the demand, the tickets are worth as much as somebody is willing to pay.

I'd be willing pay about 150 for this so that's me out.

I paid 700 to see U2 at the Sphere.

    Thats kinda how it works.
