Is it a good option to consider? Anyone working as a FET teacher?

Yes. In a school with a PLC college attached so I get paid as a second level teacher and some of my hours are in second level. Any jobs in FET (at non management level) other than PLC are on lower rates of pay than second level teaching, as far as I know and you may not get as much holidays as second level teachers. Personally, I prefer teaching adults but the downside is I have to make all my own resources (no books) and the QQI and quality administration is overwhelming at times.

If the PLC college is part of a second level school and the teachers in it have second level teaching contracts then they will have the same holidays as the second level teachers. So yes, better than yours at the moment.
