True, but is the Gardaí ever bothered to actually have the confidence of the people, did their jobs and stopped lying to people and said to the public that the judges, the prison governors and the minister for justice are interfering in the administration of law and order, then I might have sympathy for them.

They prefer to march in pride parades, go to Electric picnic for photographs, allow our country to turn into an unjust generational hell hole and have no problem hunting down tv licence avoiders and for all this they are well paid, healthcare, often above the law and can retire early.
