    It was probably only relevant during that brief early adopter phase of the 360 and quicky just vanished from public conscience despite a sequel and Wii spin off.

    I think I would have gotten it quicker if not for fact I got confused and thought I was on Framed (the similar game for movies).

    Same thing happened me. Was on the third screen and trying to figure out if it was a CG movie of some kind.

    Though got Framed on the 3rd screen as well.

    For some reason I thought the first pic might be from Madame Web, then the second picture I did cop that it looked like some sort of Hall of Justice statue, but then I thought maybe it was bad CGI from The Flash. It was only third pic I finally copped I wasn't on Framed and knew then what the game was. And then I did Framed and did even worse…. (actually never seen any of them)

    Yup. One of those franchises where it just passed me by growing up due to age/circumstances, and then it got to the point where I know so much about it from other media and references that I've just never had to urge to actually sit down and watch them.

    TBH I wouldn't really even think of it as a franchise - just look at the first one as one of the most masterfully crafted horror films ever made (just the elegance of the direction alone) that has a fun, more action-packed sequel. It's a shame it has become a messy, complex series because TBH the first in particular is just a masterclass in cinematic tension and escalation that stands out as one of the finest films of its decade.
