Apple tv shows are becoming very distinctive. You could easily pick them out of a trailer line up.

Just watched first episode, don't think I'll be continuing with it.

Just didn't do it for me. VV looks like he couldn't be bothered, although he has that acting style where he looks bored. Humour not very funny.

Just too tacky overall. A no from me.

Enjoying it,gets better further in.

Finding this very funny, as what would be a tongue-in-cheek vehicle for normally serious actors; I never found Vaughan funny, but have quite liked him as an actor in serious roles. So for me he kinda falls between two stools here, but still manages to pull it off.

The story-telling is the best part of it, with the noir-ish angle, including the voice-over aspect (all Fletch-like, as noted above) of a flippant yet grudgingly well-motivated detective; with flash-backs often being a lazy way to tell story as retrospective exposition, it's used to good effect here, especially comedy-wise. Silly, obviously, but great fun.

thought this was lots of fun , plenty of twists and turns throughout , but all with tongue firmly in cheek
