I think every Irish person should read this article. It was the number one online article in the NY Times over the weekend.
It feels like it's already old news (as in forgotten) in this country. This article might just bring it back into focus!

It was reported at the end of June this year ( 7 years since you posted that above ) that:

"The long-awaited exhumation at the Tuam mother and baby home where 796 babies

are believed to be buried is set to begin in February 2025"
