Noise cancelling headphones

    Not sure this is the right place, but here goes:

    I want a simple pair of Noise Cancelling headphones that fit over my ears and plug into the speaker socket on my computer.

    I already have a pair of Bose Quiet Comfort 25 headphones, but they eat batteries as if they are going out fashion. So, I treated myself to a set of Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones, BUT they don't work with my computer and they use a valuable USB socket.

    Can anyone recommend a set, or do I have to get an ear trumpet?

    The Sennheiser earphones do not work with Windoze or Linux. They only work with a smart phone and I do not have a smart phone. That is why I want something simple. (Bit like me,really).
