Yeah the pricing on TM is very strange. Seen the same figures for some seats in the Davin end. I got a premium lower tier ticket block 303 the other night for €280

Actively seeking tickets for me and my son. If any Boardsies want to sell 2 x standing or (relatively) cheap seats, please pm me. Its the first gig he has ever asked to go to and he waited till after they sold out before asking me. Starting to stress out now 😓

Resale tickets were showing on the 30th and 1st on the Ticketmaster website just now. €166 for lower Davin on the 30th but it would likely be €200 or so with fees added.

I have two single tickets for Friday. One ticket in 304 section and the other is in 308 section. Both the tickets in Cusack stand. Does anyone has a single ticket in either of the section that they want to swap with me? Me and my wife will be attending the concert and we want to sit together.

In case I do not get any swaps. Does anyone know how easy it is to move between sections in Cusack stand?

You could stand up behind the last row of seats, you can move around in the lower level of the Cusack.

Saw a sub 70 euro ticket earlier, gone by the time I clicked, but they do pop up.

Is ticket transfer available yet? I saw earlier that the resales are not planned until a couple of days before the gig

2x resale tickets I just missed - both Davin upper, Sunday night. €68 and €93.

    There's hope yet!

Resales are already open, it is the transfers that are 48 hours before the show.

Speaking of which, that is some eye watering prices, the service charge alone is more than some of the cheapest tickets.

    insane

Big time. There's likely been plenty of resale tickets available. The problem, for lack of a better term, is that someone looking for tickets really has to be at the right place at the right time. And it's a damn small window.

where are people seeing this? I’m checking TM a few times daily and not seeing any below €300 and only 1 at a time

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 14,048 ✭✭✭✭Exclamation Marc

Tickets pop up and are gone in less than a minute.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,420 ✭✭✭raclle

A lot of people are watching it like a hawk. If you've time in the evenings check it every 15mins. Don't waste your time checking the limited availability dates, most of them pop up in low availability

Any talk of loads of tickets around closer to the gigs has long since dried up. Still huge demand out there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,272 ✭✭✭Gru

because the transfer of tickets has been limited to 48 hours before the gig, so anyone not wanting to sell back to ticketmaster and just sell them on privately can't do that yet.

I’ve been lucky enough to get a couple of tickets from a family member who can no longer go. Obviously they won’t be transferred to my own ticketmaster till a couple of days before. I’m guessing this is the way most of the genuine unwanted tickets will go. We all know someone mad to get tickets like

anyone had any success buying 2 tickets together on the resell part on Ticketmaster. I’ve gotten thru to payment on single tickets, but whenever 2 pop up, it always says sorry these are gone? Happened about 10times. Is it a bug or what. Feel I’d have gotten thru to payment by now if they were there. esp as having success with the singles

Exhusted all avenues for tickets at this stage, resales pop up and go faster than usain bolt.

    TM run a frustrating operation.

Had two tickets for thursday locked down, by the time I told the wife they were gone!

I've definitely noticed an increase in tickets showing up in the past week, but haven't managed to secure any yet.

From what I've seen, the rare few cases of 2 appearing together are gone immediately.

Honestly, I'm more surprised by how fast the €250+ tickets seem to go. The longest I've seen them stay up for is maybe 20 minutes. You'd fly abroad and stay for 1 or 2 nights for the price of some individual tickets….

Few observations after AC/DC last night

Expect crowds esp for Merch and obviously Bars inside the stadium. Prices are high

Be early if you want to get into a pub around the stadium. They were manic yesterday

Expect ignorance, people are just arseholes with drink not helping

How strict are Croker with the no U14s on the pitch.

Will have a 13 year old in tow

if ac dc anything to go by should be easy enough to smuggle a naggin of a few cans in….

You'll be fine. Even if the stewards asked you (which I can't imagine happening) and you said your kid is 14, how could they challenge that?

Just make sure your kid knows not to jump in and say "no I'm not, I'm 13" 🤣

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,383 ✭✭✭airy fairy

I saw a kid on Saturday night on the pitch who was no more than 12. Not a short looking teen, he was visually young looking. I saw a few kids definitely only in their early teens there too.

Similar situation here, looking for 2 standing tickets preferably for Friday night but will take any night we can get at this stage.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,477 ✭✭✭Unrealistic

You need to be both persistent and lucky with your timing. I clicked on a pair of tickets a few times, only to get the 'no longer available' message, before I eventually got lucky and bagged two on the Monday. Now I'm still trying to persuade one of the kids that they should accompany my better half to the gig so that I don't have to endure Coldplay again.😉

I'd imagine checks for Coldplay will be stricter than AC/DC.

Younger crowd, more likely to be troublemakers and some ape threw a bottle at Jonny Buckland last time Coldplay were there.
