Seriously, if it takes nine attempts to pass, one should question one's ability to drive safely in the long term.

She's taken the test 9 times.

After the third or 4th attempt, would you not resolve to yourself that maybe driving is not for me?.

This one sounds like an Irish "Maureen from Driving School".

There's a tester in a Dublin test centre known as 'the black widow' by local driving instructors due to her high fail rate.

Well that's a car not in functioning manner surely?

After 15 lessons donkeys years ago, I realised I'd probably kill a multitude of people and/or meself so gave it up.

What is the point of this call? She took a load of attempts to pass her test...and?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,742 ✭✭✭✭LambshankRedemption

The tester was shouting at her.

    Joe: What was he shouting?

Caller: He was shouting "get back onto the right side of the road! / We're gonna DIE!"

I had an A2, and she’s right, you can’t open the bonnet without removing it. But there’s a service hatch with dipstick, washer bottle filler, oil filler.

She shouldn’t have had to have taken the bonnet off.

And it’s fairly easy to get off and on.

been a while since I did the dipstick test in a car.

Maybe it was the Motorsprot version, carbon fibre bonnet with spikes.
